Dr. Amos Barzilay, General Partner (United States), Walden International

Dr. Amos Barzilay is responsible for investments in the Internet and communications industries at Walden International, a venture capital firm focused on communications, electronics, software & IT services, semiconductors and life sciences/healthcare. Prior to joining Walden International, he was the Vice President and General Manager of the Content and Supplier Group in Commerce One. Earlier Dr. Barzilay held a variety of senior management positions including chairman, and CEO of Mergent Systems, General Manager of C*ATS Software, a leader in financial risk management applications, and Worldwide Director of Industry marketing at Informix. Dr. Barzilay has an engineering degree from the Technion in Israel and M.B.A. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Pittsburgh.

Jeremy Burton, President and Chief Executive Officer, Serena Software, Inc.

Mr. Burton brings 20 years in the high technology industry to Serena as president and CEO. Prior to joining Serena, Mr. Burton was group president of the enterprise security and data management business unit at Symantec, responsible for engineering, product management, alliances and business development for the company's endpoint security, compliance, archiving, Windows backup, security response and managed security service offerings. He joined the company by way of the merger with VERITAS Software in July 2005. At VERITAS, Mr. Burton was executive vice president of the data management group. Prior to that, he served as the company's senior vice president and chief marketing officer.

Prior to joining VERITAS in April 2002, Mr. Burton served as senior vice president of product and services marketing at Oracle Corporation. He also founded Oracle's developer program, the Oracle Technology Network, which today has millions of members. Before working in marketing, Mr. Burton held positions in customer support, pre-sales, product management and engineering. Burton graduated from the University of Surrey in Guildford, England in June 1990 with a bachelor's degree in information systems engineering.

Michael Murphy, Chief Executive Officer, InQuira, Inc.

Mike Murphy brings over 20 years of technology management and sales experience to his role as CEO of InQuira, Inc. Mike started InQuira in 2002 with a goal of developing a solution that would set new standards of functionality and commercial viability for Web-based customer search and navigation. Mike is now spearheading InQuira's aggressive move to deliver Online Interactive Marketing and Customer Self Service applications to industry leaders like Bank of America, BEA and AT&T. Prior to InQuira, Mike served as one of four key executives at Cambridge Technology Partners (CTP), where he grew the Western Region from revenue of $8M in 1995 to $80M in 1998. Mike then oversaw CTP's sales, marketing, alliances and partner programs, totaling more than $400M in revenue. Prior to his tenure at CTP, Mike spent 13 years at Hewlett Packard. He holds a BA in Management from Loyola Marymount University.

Jim White, Managing Director, Sutter Hill Ventures

Jim White focuses on Internet and enterprise hardware, software and services investment opportunities for Sutter Hill. He currently serves on the boards of Radiance Technologies, There, Object Reservoir and Inquira, in addition to serving as an observer on the boards of Infinera and Satmetrix.

Jim joined Sutter Hill Ventures in 2000 from Macromedia Inc., where he started Macromedia's Interactive Learning Division. As the General Manager, he grew the division to over $20M in annual revenue and sold it to IBM Software Group, which became part of the IBM Mindspan Learning Solutions Division. Prior to Macromedia, Jim served as vice president of marketing for Silicon Graphics (SGI), where he spent eight years building and launching the $1.5B 3D graphics workstation business. Jim started his career with Hewlett-Packard Company in the PC division and was part of the core team that created the Vectra Product line, spending time in engineering, sales and product marketing. He received a BS in Industrial Engineering from Northwestern University and an MBA from Harvard University.

Vincent R. Worms, Co-President, Partech International Capital Management

Vincent co-founded Partech International, a venture capital firm focused on investments in enterprise software and communications, in 1982. He has over 20 years of investment experience in the computer and CAD/CAE areas, and now predominantly focuses on enterprise software. Vincent is currently a Director of several public companies, including SangStat (SANG). He holds an MS in Civil Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MS in Engineering from Ecole Polytechnique in Paris.
