Improved Troubleshooting for Content Processing

By default, the current content processing job messages are uploaded into the new Log Event Viewer. In case of warnings or exceptions in the job, the log viewer provides a visual way to navigate to the error. This helps in identifying the series of events leading to the error, the severity of the error and important information like the Event ID.

New Tools for the Language Workbench

InQuira 8.0 introduces two new tools to help users during the language and process wizard configuration process. The Process Wizard Test Drive enables users to make configuration changes to process wizards (decision trees) while viewing the results of the changes in real-time. The Ontology Viewer provides companies with a graphical representation of the concepts and their relationships deployed in their InQuira environment.

Introducing Bulk Operations in Information Manager

Users of Information Manager 8.0 have the ability to perform operations on multiple documents. For example, users can find all documents with a specific owner and change the owner of those documents. Other bulk operations include Publish/Unpublish; Request Translation, Change Start Date/End Date, and Delete.
