RAY GRAINGER JOINS INQUIRA AS EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT

Accenture veteran to drive InQuira's professional services and strategic partnership initiatives

SAN BRUNO, Calif., October 13, 2005 — InQuira Inc., the leading provider of intelligent search solutions for improving the quality of customer interactions through websites and contact centers, today announced the appointment of Ray Grainger as executive vice president of global services and strategic partnerships. Grainger will be based in InQuira's San Bruno head office and will report to CEO Mike Murphy.

Grainger comes to InQuira after a 17-year stint with Accenture as a partner with Accenture's communications and high-tech industry practice. He most recently served as the global managing partner for Accenture's aerospace and defense industry practice. Grainger possesses a deep understanding of InQuira's technology: he was responsible for establishing InQuira's alliance relationship with Accenture, advised on the development of Inquira's initial launch strategy, and assisted with the implementation of some of InQuira's first customer sites.

Grainger also brings to InQuira hands-on experience with the formation and management of strategic partnerships. He was responsible for establishing Accenture's Alliance relationship with BEA systems, transforming the relationship into one of Accenture's principal, strategic technology partnerships.

Grainger has a B.Sc. in engineering, with distinction, from Harvey Mudd College and serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of Harvey Mudd College.
