INQUIRA APPOINTS SYMANTEC EXECUTIVE JEREMY BURTON TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS

SAN BRUNO, Calif. — January 16, 2007 — InQuira, Inc., a provider of integrated software applications for intelligent search, knowledge management, analytics and user experience, announced today the addition of Jeremy Burton, group president, Enterprise Security and Data Management at Symantec Corp. to InQuira's Board of Directors, effective immediately.

At Symantec Corp., Mr. Burton is responsible for engineering, product management, alliances and business development for the company's endpoint security, compliance, archiving, Windows backup, security response and managed security service offerings. He joined the company by way of the merger with VERITAS Software in July 2005. At VERITAS, Mr. Burton was executive vice president of the data management group. Prior to that, he served as the company's senior vice president and chief marketing officer.

Prior to joining VERITAS in April 2002, Mr. Burton served as senior vice president of product and services marketing at Oracle Corporation. He also founded Oracle's developer program, the Oracle Technology Network, which today has millions of members. Before working in marketing, Mr. Burton held positions in customer support, pre-sales, product management and engineering.
